How to connect your android device during development. Over WIFI the TCP ( Transfer Control Protocal) provide support to connect android device for debugging and programming. we have to follow few steps.

 

1. First time you have to connect your device with cable.

 

2. Open command prompt and go to your platform-tools folder

path should be like D:\Users\Yogendra\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\platform-tools

 

3. Now you are platform-tools folder:

D:\Users\Yogendra\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\platform-tools

 

4. Execute  command adb tcpip 5555

$ D:\Users\Yogendra\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\platform-tools  adb tcpip 5555

Output :
D:\Users\Yogendra\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\platform-tools>adb tcpip 5555
adb server version (39) doesn't match this client (40); killing...
* daemon started successfully
restarting in TCP mode port: 5555

 

5. Get IP Address :

Settings->About Phone-> Status -> IP Address 

It should be like this 12.345.67.890

 

6. Execute command adb connect <Ip Address>

D:\Users\Yogendra\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\platform-tools>adb connect 10.xxx.32.xx.100 
connected to 10.xxx.32.xx.100
